Shiro Sencha is a blend of Uji Gyokuro's "Shiroorecha (Kariganecha)" and Uji Sencha. The name "Shiro Sencha" is a combination of the initials of Shiroorecha.
*"Shiraore" refers to the stems of tea plants. In Kyoto, the stems of Gyokuro tea are called "gangan."

The unique taste and aroma
There are some things that we absolutely cannot compromise on.

This tea can be enjoyed even for a second brew, something that is not possible with regular ganekane tea. It has a robust flavor.
Normally, all of the flavor of ganekane tea fades after one brew, but because it is a blend of Uji tea and Uji ganekane tea, you can enjoy different flavors not only in the first brew, but also in the second and third brews.
The first brew has a sweetness similar to that of gyokuro, while the second brew has a fragrant sencha like the refreshing young leaves of Uji.
The first and second brews... but that's not all. This is a special tea that you can enjoy while still retaining its luxurious atmosphere and lingering aftertaste.

*The first, second, third, etc. refers to the number of times the same tea leaves are reused. Delicious sencha tea can be enjoyed by using the same tea leaves for a second, third, etc. time in the same teapot, allowing you to enjoy the changing flavors until you are satisfied.

Generally, the stems that are removed during the tea manufacturing process are called "shiroore." In particular, the shiroore of gyokuro is called "karigane" in Kyoto.
Wild geese contain a lot of amino acids, which are the umami components, and are characterized by their strong umami flavor.
This sencha has the sweetness of gyokuro. It combines the refreshing taste of Uji tea with the deep umami of karigane. Enjoy the luxury of this blend in the comfort of your own home.
