Shiro Sencha is a blend of Uji Gyokuro's "Shiroorecha (Kanganecha)" and "Uji Sencha." The name "Shiro Sencha" is a combination of the initials of "Shiroorecha." *"Shiroore" refers to the stem of the tea plant. In Kyoto, the stem of Gyokuro is called "Kangane."
