Dedicated entirely to tea, the owner personally visits the tea plantations of Chiran in Kagoshima Prefecture—one of Japan's most prestigious tea-producing regions—every year to hand-select and purchase only the highest quality first-flush (shincha) leaves of the season. Furthermore, the shop sends "Osaka water (Kansai water quality)" to the production site, using it to masterfully roast the tea to ensure the richest umami and sweetness are extracted when brewed.

Cultivated under abundant sunshine, a warm southern climate, and rich volcanic soil, these premium Chiran tea leaves are meticulously processed using the deep-steaming method. Recommended Brewing Method
・【Brewing in a teapot】
  1. Place an appropriate amount of tea leaves in a teapot (approx. 3g for 1 person, 6–8g for 3 people).
  2. Pour in water that has been cooled to about 70°C–80°C (approx. 80mL per person).
  3. Wait quietly for about 30–40 seconds, then pour little by little into each cup to ensure consistency (pouring until the very last drop helps ensure the second steep is also delicious).
・【Cold Brew】
  Add tea leaves (8–10g) and cold water (1L) to a bottle and let it steep in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours. This brings out the refined sweetness unique to Chiran tea, resulting in a superb cold green tea with a beautiful, vibrant dark green color.
